Summer Working Test Results
Our Summer Working Test was held yesterday at Cardross Estate in Stirling by kind permission of Graham Christie of Dunmhor Sporting. It was a great setting to hold our summer test which offered some great retrieves and scenery.
Congratulations to all award winners. Results are as follows:
Puppy:
1st – Dawn Green with Thunderlands Sofia
2nd – Ian Hollern with T.A.F Cairnrover Truideag
3rd – Iona Blackhall with Ythanvale Cherokee Of Strathieburn
Novice:
1st – Lynne Ferris with Kenzduo Carry That Weight
2nd – Abigale Herd with Ticefield Easy Lovers
3rd – Carolyn Gardner with Foxcote Winter Solstice
Open:
1st – Roddy McBain (after run off) with Devonvale Kelso of Donian
2nd – Ian Hollern with Jofless Halfback Of Brackenbird
3rd – Dawn Green with Kinkelltoll in a Pickle
We would also like to extend our gratitude to the judges, Mr John Henderson, Mr Barry McDowell, Mr Jim Temperal and Mr Ian Lahoar for giving up their time and helping to set up some great tests.
We would also like to thank all of our dummy throwers who kindly volunteered to help out today, these events wouldn’t be able to go ahead without our dummy throwers volunteering their time.

Update On 2024 Test & Trial Schedule
Following on from the club’s previous update, we are delighted to confirm that the Caledonian Retriever Club Summer Test will be held on Saturday the 10th of August at Cardross Estate, Port of Menteith, Stirling.
The Club’s autumn trial will take place on Saturday the 23rd of November.
